Blake Rowell, LGC

Description

Blake Rowell, LGC, is a licensed genetic counselor who joined University Hospitals in August 2025. Rowell is also a Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. A member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors since late 2023, Rowell obtained certification with the American Board of Genetic Counseling in August 2025. Among her duties as a genetic counselor at University Hospitals, Rowell provides comprehensive genetic risk assessment, counseling and testing coordination for patients and families with predisposed to hereditary cancer; interprets complex genetic test results; and delivers patient-centered counseling while collaborating closely with oncologists, surgeons and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
